PORTLAND, MAINE – Opus Ventures LP and MyHealthMath Inc. today announced the formation of the MyHealthMath Direct Investment Fund (the “Fund”) though which Opus Ventures LP made an investment in MyHealthMath, Inc. The Fund is qualified under the Finance Authority of Maine’s (FAME) Seed Capital Tax Credit Program, which allows nonprofit and out of state investors to participate in FAME’s tax credit program. Opus Ventures, a Portland based private capital and investment firm, will manage the Fund.

Opus Ventures LP is a venture capital fund investing primarily in Maine businesses both on a direct basis and through targeted sub funds like the MyHealthMath Direct Investment Fund and the Western Maine Venture Fund. Investors in the Fund may be eligible for benefits from FAME’s Maine Seed Capital Tax Credit Program.
